«The Amazon Exploration» is our most popular adventure package to experience the Amazon region in an authentic way.

You’ll have a chance to explore the incredible wildlife during day and night walks in the rainforest, wander & fish in the rivers on a boat, get to know the local culture by visiting a genuine Amazonian village — and fall asleep safely to the sounds of the jungle in a private lodge after a refreshing shower.

The more time you decide to spend in the jungle, the more opportunities you have to enjoy the wildlife and culture.

The Amazon Exploration — What is included?

Here's what's included in all "The Amazon Exploration" adventures:

Professional, bilingual guide (English & Spanish)
Simple, but comfortable accommodation in the Allpayacu Adventures Lodge
Delicious, freshly cooked meals every day (breakfast, lunch & dinner) — excluding the Day 1 breakfast and last day’s dinner. Vegetarian and vegan options are available
Coffee, tea, and filtered water (available all day in the lodge)
Transportation from your accommodation in Iquitos to the jungle lodge and back
Transportation by boat to different areas in the jungle
Rubber boots, rain ponchos & life jacket for lending

The Amazon Exploration — What to bring with you?

Things we recommend you to bring with you:

Carry-on sized water bottle(s)
Long-sleeved shirts & T-shirts (preferably loose and light colors)
Long pants/trousers (preferably loose and light colors)
A hat
Shoes comfortable for walking (e.g. sneakers on boat excursions, rubber boots we lend you for hiking)
Sun lotion
Sunglasses
A proper flashlight or headlight (with extra batteries)
Mosquito repellent (preferably spray)
Swimming suit (optional)
Towel (optional, we provide you one at the lodge)
Camera (extra batteries and memory cards too — the jungle is a great place for photography!)
Personal medicine & hygiene equipment
Extra snacks (our meals will not keep you hungry, but some people always prefer some snacks just in case)
Some cash for small purchases (e.g. at the Nauta marketplace) or voluntary tips for the staff
